Veneer
Veneer is a thin layer of porcelain permanently bonded to the front side of your teeth, either to improve the aesthetics of a tooth, or to protect and repair a damaged tooth surface.
Veneers can take away the lengthy orthodontic (braces) treatment. You can get a beautiful look in a short time by placing veneers on your front teeth even if they are quite crooked and miss-shaped.
Veneers are custom designed to each of your tooth by the dental laboratory. Veneers look natural and fit with your face, smile and personality. Our dentist places veneers with high precision to your teeth in order to make them very strong, resisting discoloration and chipping and last long usually from 5 to 12 years or longer.
We can repair cracked, chipped, and discoloured teeth and misaligned teeth, providing a straighter, more uniform with veneers. These types of restorations are sometimes called dental bonding or cosmetic bonding.
Direct veneers during a weekday
We can complete direct veneers during a weekday with one or 2 night staying. You will not need for temporary veneers because of the fast completion. Traditional porcelain veneers require staying 5 weekdays and temporary veneer.
Direct veneers are made from modern composite resins having high degree of poishability, excellent stain resistance and equal alternative to porcelain veneers. Direct veneers compose of around 70% fine ceramic particles in a resin matrix. The ceramic particles provide the cosmetic, tooth-like appearance of the material, while the resin matrix provides the impact toughness i.e. resilience of the material. The resin matrix of composite resin is able to flex slightly and resist the sudden force while 100% ceramic veneers are more likely to crack.
Once we have created a new smile in direct composite resin, we can then proceed to customization of the smile in relation to the contours of the veneers, length, shape and bite. Composite resin lends itself to easy adjustments – this allows us to deliver a cosmetic result that is as close as possible to your ideal smile. Ceramic veneers are less adjustable.
We give the 2 years guarantee to direct veneers as to porcelain veneers. Direct veneers may start to look tired in 8-12 years. In this time frame, there will be surface deterioration of the resin which can be renewed without the loss of tooth structure.
In the event of a veneer cracking, ceramic is difficult to repair and usually a new ceramic veneer needs to be made. With direct composite resin an invisible repair can be conducted on the spot.

Limitations- Veneers are suitable only for the front lower or upper 6 or 8 teeth.
