Guarantee conditions
The guarantees refer to the entire work done, i.e. all materials, laboratory work and treatment done in our clinic. The guarantees in years are published at our website at
Guarantee. The guarantees in years will be stated in Acknowledgement of receipt and Guarantee statement what you will receive when your treatment completed.
The guarantee is only valid for procedures that were done in our clinic. Costs arising from work done in other dental offices are not covered under our guarantee. The guarantee can only be claimed at our clinic.
In case of implant failure we will place another implant at no additional cost to you.
The guarantee of the implants is valid only if we will complete the full work (e.g. placing the implants, the abutement, the crowns, bridges, dentures, and removing the stitches (except if they are self absorbing stitches), etc.).
There might be cases when a dental problem occurred and can not be decided the route cause. In these cases the guarantee is only valid for remedial dental work and does not cover travelling and accommodation costs.
When a dental problem is clearly occurred due to our work, we will pay the return ticket to a low cost airline and a three-star accommodation into our dedicated hotels up to 40 EUR/night and we will make the remedial dental work. It is the Clinic’s decision to book the air ticket for the patient or the patient can book it. When the clinic books the air ticket we will consult with the patient when he or she can come.
In the case that you require guarantee work, we will carry out the remedial work at the clinic in Budapest. We can not cover costs of other dentists or dentistries.
If we provided dental treatments abroad (i.e. not in Budapest), we would make the consultation in relation to the guarantee in the normal opening hours in our dental office abroad. If the scope of the guarantee work allowed, we would make the remedial dental treatment in the normal opening hours in our dental office abroad. Please be aware, if we did not have dental offices abroad or we closed it or the scope of the remedial work would not allow carrying it through in our dental office abroad, than all guarantee works were due at the clinic in Budapest.
We can not accept guarantee claims for temporary solutions.
Guarantee will be reduced or invalidated if
The patient fails to visit the clinic for annual checking up or fails to provide adequate and verifiable information about his or her dental status at least once a year.
Patient neglects oral hygiene.
Instructions in the document of "Pre and Post treatment instructions" are not kept or followed.
Unforeseen root canal treatment after having tooth or teeth prepared for crown and bridgework. Occasionally, teeth might suffer preparation trauma during crown and bridgework, inlay treatment resulting in a need for a root canal treatment afterwards
The patient undergoes treatment or laboratory work provided by another dental clinic.
Self-treatment or intervention such as removal of stitches after an operation, etc.
The gum tissue or jaw/teeth bone are significantly reducing or pathological.
Bad habitual biting, bruxism, teeth grinding.
The patient loses or gains a substantial amount of weight during a short period.
Problems caused by malnutrition or other bad habits.
In case of accidental damage (e.g. falls down, fight, accident or other events caused by drugs, alcohol or other materials resulting in mental disfunction, etc.).
Accidents, modifications that come up during emergency interventions and that affect the performed dental treatment general illness occurring that has negative effects on the dental condition (e.g. diabetes, epilepsy, and osteoporosis, condition after x-rays or chemotherapy, etc.).
Diseases of masticator apparatus caused by general, infectious diseases, tumours, poisonings, etc., or the treatment of these illnesses.
Denture is not used properly.
Denture is not cleaned with dental cleaning supplies and tools.
Readjustments of denture.
Problem reported lately or patient cannot provide the defective denture (please, contact immediately if something happens to the denture!).
Patient does not notify the clinic prior to exercising their guarantee.
When the treatment received has not been paid in full.
Course of Treatment
The clinic is entitled to any modifications to the Treatment Plan. In some cases it may only become apparent after the commencement of your treatment at our clinic that the course of treatment has to be modified. Sometimes this happens as old crowns are being removed and loose teeth pulled. At other times it may happen at the very onset when specialists are consulted. The implications of such findings will be explained, and a modified treatment plan will be agreed. This means, that initial treatment plans can be changed at any time of the treatment if this is medically necessary. During this process you may at any time decide not to continue with the treatment. In this instance you will only have to pay for treatment and laboratory work which has been provided.
The clinic has the absolute right to discontinue treatment at any time without any obligation for compensation if you are not medically or mentally fit for the recommended treatment or if your payment obligations are not met.
Cancellation or reschedule consultation and treatments
If for any reason you do not present yourself on time and in a state that the consultation can be performed, your appointment will be cancelled, and we will charge you for your consultation. In certain cases we may need to move your appointment. In these cases we will notify you as soon as the need for rescheduling arises, and offer you alternative times.
In the case of cancellation for a patient’s first visit, there is no cancellation fee. However, due to the restrictive nature of the timing of treatments, a cancellation penalty will be charged for the cancellation of a subsequent visit.
Cancellations for scheduled dental treatment are only accepted no later than 72 hours (3 working days) in advance in writing or phone call.
In some cases during the treatment we may need to make changes to your appointment time or the treating specialist. In this event we will contact you to advise you of those changes at the first available opportunity.
The clinic may at any time without notifying you make any changes to our services which are necessary to comply with any applicable safety or other statutory requirements, or which do not materially affect the nature or quality of our Services.
Customers are responsible for any cancellation fees imposed by other travel suppliers, such as airline or hotel cancellation fees or charges.
