Orthodontics is straightening of teeth misalignments in order to improve the general appearance of teeth and face for cosmetic reason or make a functionally improved bite.

The pre condition to start your orthodontic treatment is that all your teeth need to be in good condition. If you have bad teeth that have to be treated before the orthodontics treatment starts.

An orthodontic treatment can take typically 12-24 moths. Number of visits can vary between 6 and 16 and the cost can vary between 2600 EUR and 5500 EUR, typically 3000-4000 EUR depending on the complexity and what orthodontic treatment you need.

There is big cost savings on dental treatments, the only exceptional is the orthodontic treatments. The frequent travel (from 6 to 16) can consume the savings, so generally speaking there is not significant savings on orthodontic treatment abroad, except if somebody is living in Budapest or come to Hungary frequently.

Approximate prices of orthodontic treatment are as follows:

• A treatment with traditional braces or with Rooth system (a transparent system) would be 2600-3100 EUR. The treatment length is around 12 or 18 months and should visit us in each 4 or 6 weeks for a weekday.

• With a new technique called Daemon technique would be 3700-4100 EUR. The treatment length is around 12 months and should visit us in each 4 or 6 weeks for a weekday.

Each visit costs 45 EUR including FREE taxi from and to the Budapest Airport.

For a correct orthodontic diagnosis, a personal consultation would be necessary. A simple orthodontic consultation costs 60 EUR and consultation including detailed treatment plan costs 130 EUR. (on our WEB page the free consultation refers to a normal (i.e. not orthodontic) dental treatments)
